Join a leading VR developer, as their Narrative Lead in Amsterdam. The studio is looking for someone with strong writing skills, game development expertise, and exceptional creative leadership to contribute to an ambitious narrative-driven VR game based on a globally renowned IP. 

• Oversee all project writing, collaborate with internal and external talent to ensure consistency, quality
• Manage the status and accuracy of story assets
• Own casting and planning of recording sessions to ensure top talent and budget efficiency
• Lead an internal team of narrative designers, responsible for designing and implementing story assets in the game engine
• Champion the story’s implementation, driving collaboration across animation, game/artistic direction, and production

• Proven writing ability, from high level story shaping to screenplay and dialogue
• Experienced in planning for and executing performance capture/voice recording
• Strong English communication and organizational skills
• 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership role on a successful narrative driven console action-adventure title
• Knowledge of implementing story content in the Unreal Engine
