Description
Embark is AAA studio in Stockholm, Sweden known for their multiplayer shooter IPs: ARC Raiders & The Finals. They are searching for a gameplay programmer to work on either of those IPs. The games are being developed in Unreal, C++, blueprints and a scripting language called Angelscript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high quality gameplay systems
- Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot technical issues
- Mentor more junior members on the team
- Communicate effectively with other team members and departments
- Collaborate with creative leadership and other team leads
- Lead the visuals on marketing and PR to ensure visual coherence across all branding and marketing material
- Develop innovative solutions for various gameplay problems
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in C++
- A keen understanding of compelling gameplay aesthetics and sensations
- Fluent English skills
- An enthusiasm for computer science and programming as a craft
- Experience with multiplayer
- Previously worked with shooter games
- Ability to speak “design”
